We now host Valheim!

Valheim servers are live. Ten plans, from 3GB at A$11.25 a month up to 16GB at A$60.00, running on our own hardware in Australia. Crossplay is on from the start, and mods go on with a switch and an upload.

The plans
The plans go up a gigabyte at a time to 8GB, then two at a time to 16GB. Start small. What fills the memory over time is the world itself, because everything your group explores and builds stays in it, so a world that's months old asks for more than a new one. Mods add to it again. When you need more, you can upgrade and your world comes with you.
Every plan is A$3.75 per GB, the same rate as every other game we host. These are the ongoing prices, not an introductory rate.
Your first month is 20% off on monthly billing, applied automatically at checkout. Or pay up front and take 10% off three months, 15% off six or 20% off a year. Those prices are rounded down to a whole dollar, so you always save at least that much. The two offers don't stack.
Plans up to 7GB come with 10GB of storage, and plans from 8GB come with 20GB. Valheim itself takes about 2GB of that.
What is different about a Valheim server
Crossplay is on from the start. Players on PC join with your address. Players on Xbox, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 join with a code that shows at the top of your control panel. The code can change when your server restarts, so check it before you send it. Connecting to Your Valheim Server has the steps.
Mods are a switch and an upload. Turn on Load mods on the Mods tab, download a mod from Thunderstore and upload the zip as it is. Your server puts every part where it belongs, and tells you if the mod needs another one first. Valheim has no official mod support, so an update can stop a mod working until its author catches up. See How to Install Valheim Mods.
It restarts once a day. At 4am Brisbane time, your server restarts and takes any new version of Valheim. The game turns away a player whose version doesn't match the server, and Steam updates players without asking, so a server left behind is one nobody can join. You can move the time or turn it off on the Settings tab.
Your world remembers its settings. Combat, raids, resources and the rest are world modifiers on the Config tab, and once a world has one, it keeps it. Picking the Normal preset resets them all. Valheim Server Settings explains how.
The console only reads. Valheim's server doesn't take typed commands, so the Console tab shows you what's happening and that's all. Put yourself on the Admins list on the Players tab and you can kick and ban from inside the game, with Valheim's own console.
Every server has a password. It needs at least 5 characters and it can't be part of your server name. Yours is set when your server is made, and you can change it on the Config tab.
What is the same
Everything else. The control panel, the file manager, SFTP, backups and support work the way they do for a Minecraft server, because it's the same panel and the same team. So does the 7-day money-back guarantee.
Seven games now
Minecraft is still what most of our customers run, and nothing about those plans has changed. Valheim makes seven games on the same hardware, the same panel and the same support. Come and see the lot at mchosts.com.au/games.
