Payment Methods

MCHosts uses Stripe for secure payment processing. You can save multiple cards, set a default, and remove cards you no longer use.

Viewing saved cards

  1. Go to mchosts.com.au/user-settings
  2. Open the Billing tab

Your saved payment methods are listed showing the card brand, last 4 digits, and expiry date. The default card has a Default badge.

Adding a new card

  1. Click Add Payment Method
  2. Enter your card details in the Stripe form
  3. Click Save

The new card is added to your list. It is not set as the default automatically - see below to change the default.

Card Input

Setting a default card

The default card is charged automatically when your subscription renews.

Click Set Default next to any card to make it the default for future charges.

Removing a card

Click Remove next to a card to detach it from your account.

Note: You cannot remove a card if it is the only saved payment method on an account with an active subscription. Add a replacement card first, then remove the old one.

Failed payments

If a payment fails at renewal, you will receive an email notification. To resolve it:

  1. Check that your card details are up to date (cards expire - check the expiry date shown in the Billing tab)
  2. Add a new card if needed
  3. Contact your bank if the card is valid but still declining

Subscriptions with repeated failed payments may be suspended. Contact support if you're having billing issues.
