Space Engineers Server Hosting in Australia

An engineering sandbox where you design the ship, wire its power, and find out whether it flies.
Survival or creative, solo or with a crew
Physics that decide whether the thing you built holds together
Blueprints and mods from the Steam Workshop
Space Engineers artwork
Space Engineers is a sandbox game about designing and building your own spacecraft. You draw one up block by block, weld it together, and everything you make can be shot apart, crashed or stripped for parts afterwards.
That is why it suits a server. A station is weeks of work rather than an evening, and it should not live inside one person's copy of the game where it stops existing the moment they close it.
THE GAME

What Space Engineers asks of a server

Sized by the build, not the crew
A Space Engineers server spends its time on physics. Rotors turn and grids collide whether two people are on or ten, so what it needs follows how much has been built rather than how many are logged in.
An empty server stops the clock
A Space Engineers server pauses itself once the last engineer logs off, which is how it ships. Turn that off and the refineries work through the night, which is something a server can do and a friend's PC cannot.
Workshop blueprints and mods
Space Engineers has one of the deeper Workshop catalogues in the genre, and the server is what decides which of it everyone is running.
Everyone aboard the same ship
A grid is one physical object, so when it moves, everybody standing on it moves too. That is the part no amount of passing a save file around gets you, and it is why crews build one thing together rather than four in parallel.

WHY A SERVER

Somewhere the build outlasts the evening

A station, a mining rig, a ship that actually flies. Those are weeks of work each, and none of it survives sitting inside one person's game where it disappears the day they reinstall.
On a server it sits at a fixed address and anybody can log in and add to it. Whoever has a spare hour is working on the same grids as everyone else.
Everyone works on the same grids
The world is there whenever anyone is
No single machine everyone waits on
Engineers on a platform above a planet
