Rust Server Hosting in Australia

A survival island where the only goal is to last another night, and everyone else is the problem.
Wipe cycles that give a community its rhythm
Raids that happen whether you are online or not
One of the heavier games in the genre to host
Rust artwork
Rust is a survival game in the sense that everything on the island wants you dead, the other players most of all. You gather, you build, you fortify, and eventually somebody comes for it.
That loop only exists on a server. Raids land while you sleep, the map persists between sessions, and the wipe cycle is what gives a community its shape. None of it survives on somebody's home machine.
THE GAME

What Rust asks of a server

Heavier to host than most
Population, map size and entity count all pull on the same machine, and a Rust server that degrades on a busy evening is the one everybody remembers.
Wipe day is the test
A Rust community runs on its wipe cycle, and the worst possible day for a server to struggle is the one everybody logs in on at once.
Seed and map size are decisions
A Rust server builds its island from a seed and a size you choose, and that settles how much there is to fight over before anyone joins.
Raids do not wait for you
Your base is attacked on somebody else's schedule. The world has to be up for that to mean anything, which is the whole argument for hosting it properly.

WHY A SERVER

Your server, your rules

Running your own Rust server is how a group decides its own wipe schedule, its own rates and who is allowed on. Public servers decide all of that for you.
It is also the only way to keep a community together across a wipe rather than scattering it.
Your wipe schedule and your rates
Admin tools when somebody needs removing
A population you picked
